"You may live quietly but your star burns bright!"
this is what sophie told me
amazed, sometimes,
at the community found here
in the ethers.
and grateful for the brightness
light and color
in these dark days.

  1. Now that is some patina!!

And, I know what you mean about the etheric community here, simply amazing, I never even had a clue that I would have ANY inclination to blogging. Thought it was all words. I like words, but more on pages than on screens. So, when I discovered the artisan blogs, I was blown away... and, well, now that I am one, I'm continually blown away by the generosity. People emailing me to get my address to send me something, people checking in to make sure I'm ok in my grief, receiving countless lovely gifts from giveaways, and then the generosity of spirit and kindness of wonderful comments like yours from Sophie. I was thinking we have a new kind of pen pal thing going with those of us who reciprocate following, commenting, etc... lovely.

(wow, long comment. Happy almost darkest day!)

  7. I like how India put it - how something so ethereal (the interweb) can create something to solid and sure and close and real is remarkable. And good!
